چکیده
Objective: Formulation and evaluation of clobetasol-17-propionate-loaded carboxymethyl chitosan nanoparticle. Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder caused due to the autoimmune factors. It has detrimental psychological physiological impact on patients emergence apparent skin. The systemic therapy with anti-psoriatic drugs such corticosteroids, immunosuppressant, gene suppressors causes severe side effects. As result, increasing effectiveness safety aforementioned medicines when applied topically would be extremely useful in avoiding effects associated route administration. Methods: Chitosan (CS) not been widely used clinic applications but its limited solubility poor mechanical characteristics. CS, other hand, chemically changed form (CMC), which soluble at both neutral basic pH. Chemical modifications can also attach different functional groups control hydrophobic, cationic, anionic properties. CMC promising carrier that might possibly traverse thick scales psoriatic since it penetration enhancer allows drug diffusion through either transcellular or paracellular pathways. Comparative study done using as polymer CD polymer. Results: CP-loaded nanoparticles show better result results than Conclusion: Clobetasol-17-propionate-loaded nanoparticle shows improved solubility.

Formulation, Optimization and Evaluation of Clobetasol Propionate Gel
Objective: The present study was aimed to develop topical gel of Clobetasol propionate with the help of carbopol-934 and Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose K4m as gelling agents. Polymers play major role in various characterization parameters of topical gel such as in vitro release and rheological properties. Methods: Gels were prepared with carbopol-934 and Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose K4m as gell...
متن کاملIn Vivo Assessment of Clobetasol Propionate-Loaded Lecithin-Chitosan Nanoparticles for Skin Delivery
The aim of this work was to assess in vivo the anti-inflammatory efficacy and tolerability of clobetasol propionate (CP) loaded lecithin/chitosan nanoparticles incorporated into chitosan gel for topical application (CP 0.005%). As a comparison, a commercial cream (CP 0.05% w/w), and a sodium deoxycholate gel (CP 0.05% w/w) were also evaluated. Lecithin/chitosan nanoparticles were prepared by se...

INTRODUCTION Topical glucocorticoids (TG) are the most frequently prescribed drugs by dermatologists. Their clinical effectiveness in the treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis is related to their vasoconstrictive, anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive and anti-proliferative effects. Despite their benefit in the therapy of inflammatory diseases, TG are associated number of side effects tha...

Topical corticosteroids have long been the chronic stage in the treatment of steroid responsive dermatitis. Creams containing 0.05% w/w Clobetasol-17-propionate (CP) as active ingredient are categorized as super potent class I topical dermatological corticosteroids. For the drug molecule to reach the cutaneous microcirculation, enhance, the systemic circulation, have to transverse both the lipo...
متن کاملAccelerated Stability Testing of a Clobetasol Propionate-Loaded Nanoemulsion as per ICH Guidelines
The physical and chemical degradation of drugs may result in altered therapeutic efficacy and even toxic effects. Therefore, the objective of this work was to study the stability of clobetasol propionate (CP) in a nanoemulsion. The nanoemulsion formulation containing CP was prepared by the spontaneous emulsification method. For the formulation of the nanoemulsion, Safsol, Tween 20, ethanol, and...
